Lemon and Blueberry Detox Water

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! As I was alone in the kitchen today after 2 hours of napping on the sofa (the weather was quite good actually!), I thought of what to post on my blog as I didn’t publish any entries yesterday. I remembered the other day while grocery shopping with my grandma that I wanted to buy some lemons to make detox water! Mom countered back saying that she already bought fruits for us and if I would have opened the fruit compartment in the fridge I would have seen it.. which I didn’t.

For a one liter water bottle, I used one lemon and a handful of blueberries. Of course, you gotta have BROS water bottle for that beautiful design which doesn’t do anything special to your palate nor make you any less thirsty when you drink out of it. Just purely aesthetic. Aaaaand a fruit knife! What’s the difference between a fruit knife and a regular chopping knife, anyway?

Just washed the lemon and sliced it. For the blueberries, you don’t need to do anything just wash them and squeeze them a little before putting them in the bottle just to let the juice out. Fill the bottle with plain water and put it in the fridge. You can drink it the next morning before your breakfast! x
