I’m not much of a beauty and skincare trier but I do have a few bits that I’m going to try out. Some of these products I got last month but I’m currently in the process of trying them out so I haven’t really made up my mind about them just yet but I will come up with a review post once I figured out my overall thoughts about them.
True Island Honey Bee Venom Multi Solution Cream
My mom’s colleague at her work place swears by this cream so knowing my mom, she bought it but didn’t actually use it on her so I had the honour of using it as I’m running low on my current moisturiser. I’ve only tried it for a couple of weeks and so far I’m really liking it! Thankfully I’m not allergic to anything bees (I think I’m not) so please keep in mind that if you’re allergic to bees, then this product will not work for you at all.
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation
This foundation is now available in my country (yes, we’re late to the club, I know) and I immediately went and purchased it at Wellness, AEON Mall Shah Alam. The shades available starts from 115, 120 and so on and I went with 115 which has a pink undertone. My ideal shade is 112 but obviously it’s not available and the shade 120 is too dark for my skin tone. I watched reviews that this foundation oxidises so I went with the lightest shade available because I don’t want my face looking darker than my hands by the end of the day. I haven’t tried it though because I’m going makeup free for a few weeks until Eid but I’ll be doing a review of it soon.
L’oreal Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation
I have been trying this foundation for a couple of weeks now and I’m still not sure what I think about it. I’m currently trying this foundation with a mattifying primer, hydrating primer, with no primer, and mixing it with other foundation and every time I get different results! I’ll be doing a review of this foundation once I figured out if I liked it or not because it’s not a foundation that I immediately fall in love with after the first try.
MAC Lipstick in Faux (satin) and Kinda Sexy (matte)
I’m slowly building my MAC bullet lipstick collection and *drum rolls* please say hello to the newest addition, Faux and Kinda Sexy! I have been wanting Faux for the longest time and the shade is very similar to Mehr + Yash worn together. Kinda Sexy is a bit orangey for my skin tone but I like it as well. Should I do an individual post for each of my MAC lipstick with swatches and demo? Please let me know!
