Sooooooooooo. You guys. I miss writing. I miss I miss I miss!
I’m officially a final year Education student! Okay if I didn’t spend a whole year (which equivalent to 3 semesters) last year sitting at home doing nothing I would have been on practicum right now but let’s not talk about how I’m a year behind my batch mates. Meh.
This semester (my 7th) I’m taking Theatre in TESL (where we have to produce our own play OMG!), Management of Sports Injuries, Developing Teaching Skills in Physical Education, Teaching Reading and Writing Skills, and Introduction to Varieties of English.
For my final semester I will be having Ethnic Relations; Organization Methods, Supervision and Evaluation in Physical Education; Micro Teaching; Discourse Analysis; and Research Methods in Language Learning. Can’t believe I have come a very long way from November 2014 where I enrolled in Bachelor’s degree. I must say that my BEd years were not a walk in the park but God, I’m making it through.
To be quite honest, I’m done with studying. It’s ironic coming from an Education student whose future career is 90% a teacher but I don’t have to like the whole process of becoming a teacher, do I? I don’t like what I don’t like regardless of its relation to my career in the future and I would have hated myself even more if I took up Medical Science which in case you didn’t know, I almost did. It’s crazy to think that at 18 I already had to make an important decision about my future. Dear 18-year-old self, thank you for taking up TESL. You’ll live. You’re surviving. It’s not the end of the world.
I can feel that this is going to be the toughest semester yet. Besides taking those 5 core subjects, I am also taking 2 skill subjects that are compulsory for my university and one of them has camping as major project. Holy cow, I hate camping and I hate being in nature (no offense to those who actually do enjoy nature) but God help me!
So what have I been up to? Well, I actually have to go through Photos in my phone so I can recall what I’ve been up to for the past two weeks.

I did a manicure for the first time in my life!
— There was people from a beauty salon shop in Aeon Shah Alam doing hair and nails promotion and my friend decided to do an express manicure and I was like damn, I want shiny nails too so I just spent 30 ringgit on a manicure that I don’t think would last longer than 2 weeks. Sobs. The next time I’d spend my money on manicure it’ll be for my wedding day.
I made a custom bracelet that matches my watch!
— My boyfriend got me a watch when he got back to Malaysia from the UK last month so I thought I would get a custom bead bracelet that matches the two main colours of the watch he got me. To me it’s beautiful and I have been wearing it ever since! I even made one for my mom and sister and they love it![/pipdig_padded_text]

I’m trying new skincare products!
— Gosh, the struggle I have with my skin is baffling. I almost gave up trying to fix it but there was still bits and pieces of willingness in me and you know how the saying goes, when there’s a will, there’s a way. I hope that the new skincare products I’m using will work because your home girl is done being ugly duckling because of her skin aaaaaah.
Did I mention that for this semester I have the worst timetable ever? #classendsatsixthirtyonFriday #WHAT.
