Recently Hauled Beauty and Skincare Bits

beauty skincare haul

Most of these purchases were unplanned and out of impulse — plain and simple — although I had promised myself not to buy and wear any more makeup before my wedding so I guess that promise went out the window instead. Yikes. However, I did buy them in a span of a few months so it’s not like I spent a ton of money at one time, right?

Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer

The Double Wear line has lived up to so many hypes and I finally understand why. This concealer is full coverage and it lasts the whole day without turning cakey on my skin. I love it!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Brow Gel

I don’t know about you but Bobbi Brown brow products are my favourite. However, I don’t have problems in the brow department so it doesn’t take much for a product to wow me. I’ve been enjoying using this one as it’s the perfect colour for my dark eyebrows and it lasts the whole day too.

Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1

Oh how I love this despite its crazy price tag for a mere lip balm. It moisturises my lips while giving it the nicest glossy, wet look that I always see on Instagram. Definitely love this one and will be repurchasing it.

Kiehl’s Love Oil For Lips

My sister in law asked me to buy it for her since she’s not in Malaysia so I thought what the heck I’m going to get myself one too. It’s thicker and RM30 pricier than the Lip Balm #1.

Kayman Beauty Coalface Soap

I’ve heard glowing reviews about this local-made facial soap so I wanted to give it a try. I must say that it’s my current favourite facial cleanser and I will definitely repurchase it once I run out. What’s more important is it suits my sensitive skin.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

I realised at some point in my life I swore that I wasn’t into this foundation but what the heck, I changed my mind and really liked it. I repurchased the shade #115 and it’s the perfect match for me.

Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse Foundation

I couldn’t believe that this foundation is half the price of Maybelline Fit Me because it’s super good! If you have oily skin and just wanted something matte and medium to full coverage without breaking your bank, give this foundation a try!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

If you’re an oily skin gal, I really recommend this powder! I have combination skin and I thought it works wonders to control oil on my T-zone for a good six hour. It doesn’t cling to my dry patches on my cheeks so that’s a plus point.

Catrice Lashes To Kill Mascara

Catrice has some really affordable mascaras but my only issue with ALL the mascaras I have tried is they all gave me panda eye, including the waterproof ones. This one is an okay mascara, and the panda eye it gives me is to be expected.

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner Power Black

The name doesn’t justify the product because it’s not that black. I do think that the Hyper Sharp Liner with yellow cap is much more black and amazing than this one. The gel one in a pot is amazing too.

Breena Beauty x HERMO Alluring Diamond Sponge

I was planning on purchasing the original blending pearl but I saw this limited edition sponge duo and I was sold immediately! It’s so beautiful and I love that although it’s RM5 more than the original blending pearl, I basically got two different sizes of sponge for different purposes.

Simple Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water

I’ve been an avid user of the original Simple Micellar Water with the green cap but I saw this one at my local drugstore fit for dry skin and I love this one even more. It doesn’t dry out nor making my skin oily with the added Water Boost. I also don’t find the need to use a facial cleanser afterwards when I take off my makeup for prayers with it. I love it.

Cozuma Bare Crème Lip Matte

Not your usual brand of makeup because it’s actually an MLM brand product but I tested it at my previous workplace and thought that it really suits my skin tone. I can go light or heavy with it and the best thing is it doesn’t crack on my lips.

Enchanteur Paris Adore perfume

Not many will favour drugstore perfumes but I have gone through bottles and bottles of this perfume because it’s so sweet and a friend of mine once thought that I use something from Victoria’s Secret. It’s so cheap that I can use up a bottle every month without feeling like I’m damaging my bank.

Have you tried any of these products? Do they work for you?
