A Recap on My 2019 To-Do List

recap on 2019 to do list

I totally forgot about the 2019 to-do list that I have published some time early last year so I thought it would be fun to do a quick recap on the list and see what I have achieved and what I still haven’t. I only have 5 things on the list because I know that my lazy ass wouldn’t be able to do everything in a year. Yikes. So here goes.

In 2019 I want to…

finish internship ✅

In July, I finished my 14 weeks internship at a secondary high school as an English teacher and I couldn’t be happier! It was honestly the most challenging 14 weeks of my life and I don’t want to repeat it at all. Definitely no. Over my dead body. Just last week, I had my convocation day and it was one of the best days of my life!

get married ✅

I got married in November and it’s everything I ever wanted in a wedding. A night reception garden wedding with fairy lights and fireworks, what more can I ask? The food was awesome. Everything was perfect.

get driver’s license ❌

I did get my learner’s license and failed my test but I’ve been practising my driving and I can say that I can drive properly now. I just haven’t found the time to repeat my driving test. Probably in this month or so. i can’t wait to drive legally LOL.

lose 15 kg ❌

I wanted to lose a lot of weight for my wedding but I didn’t have the perseverance to cut down on food and go exercising. I kinda feel a little bit of regret for not losing weight and it’s too late for me to do so right now because I am currently in my third month of pregnancy so I hope I can lose all that weight after I deliver my baby.

buy an iMac ✅

I really wanted an iMac because I already had a 2012 MacBook Pro so it would be fitting to get a desktop but the new 2019 MacBook Pro is lovely and within my budget so I passed down the 2012 MacBook Pro to my sister and got the new MacBook. Best decision ever. I love my MacBook so much.
