3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream Review

3w clinic intensive uv sunblock cream

I have been a lifelong fan of the Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture and along the way I have tried a couple more sunscreens but none have tackled my heart as much as the Bioré one did. But I’ve heard glowing reviews among skincare enthusiasts that the 3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream is super good so I just had to give it a try.

I bought mine on Shopee from a shop called ippuni for RM12.60 but you can always get it cheaper. Here’s the link to the product. It comes in a 70 ml tube with a nozzle cap that disperse just the right amount of product, not too much and not too little.

The ingredient:

Water, EthylhexylMethoxycinnamate, Titanium Oxide, 1.3-Butylene Glycol, 4-Methylbenzylidene, Camphor, Dicapryl Carbonate, Beeswax, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3Methylglucose Distearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceridde, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Barbansis Leaf Extract, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Red Ginseng Extract, Propylparaben, Disodium – EDTA, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Arbutin, Betaine, Perfume.

I’m not going to get into the whole ingredient list because I know nothing about any of it but if you see any ingredient that you are allergic to, it’s best to avoid this sunblock. It’s a water-based cream sunblock that is easy to apply and leaves no white cast so if you’re on the darker side of the spectrum, this won’t make you look greyish.

As usual, I wear about two fingers of the product and apply it evenly on my face. It doesn’t turn matte and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated and glowing. Therefore, I don’t think people with oily skin will appreciate this as much.

It doesn’t break me out which is a plus point, and I’ve read that it makes a great base for makeup which means that your makeup will look on point all day. I have yet to try it under makeup so I can’t vouch for it. However, considering the consistency and how glowy it makes my skin, I think I will love using this under my makeup. I hated the Bioré sunscreen under makeup because it mattifies and cracks my makeup so bad.

The smell is a bit powdery which I love because you can’t smell the chemical-y smell you usually found in a lot of sunscreen. If you’re not too keen on fragrance product, it’s better to avoid this product.
