It has been a minute since my last post!
I have no excuses other than the fact that this month I’ve been so overwhelmed with everything going on in my life. The whole 4 weeks were just a challenge and I was on the verge on wanting to sleep all day.. for a week. I’m exhausted. I have things I want to do that I haven’t been able to do such as writing posts for my blog and resting without having to think of things that are yet to be checked on my list. Anyway, despite all that, the last few days of March was awesome because…
01. my 26th birthday
I turned 26 on Monday. Yikes! I’m 4 years away from reaching 30 and I kinda feel like I haven’t achieved much in life yet. My greatest accomplishment so far is being a mom and I wouldn’t have it any other way although my son has been so clingy for the past month. He only wants mommy and mommy only. He wants to be held at all times which resulting to my not being able to do work at all. I spend all my time with him and I can’t lie that I get frustrated at times but in the end I just “what the hell..” nurse him and nap with him during the day haha.
02. we’ve moved!
My husband and I lived at his parents’ house since we got married but this month we have finally moved to a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. I’ve always imagined living in apartment by myself as one of my life goals but this is better — I get to live with my husband and son. It’s been great so far but the exhaustion from unpacking and caring for a clingy baby…. phew. The master bedroom is currently my office + wardrobe, the second bedroom is our bedroom and the last bedroom aka the smallest is my husband’s office. We utilise all area pretty well.
03. my brother got me an airpods
I’ve been wanting an AirPods for quite a while so my brother kindly got me one for my birthday hehe. I wanted the AirPods Pro at first but I wasn’t too keen on in-ear earphones. I like the normal EarPods as I find it comfortable for my ears so I’m happy with just the normal AirPods. I bought a case and keychain for it on Shopee. Will do a post about it soon!
04. my husband got me the longchamp le pliage classic large shoulder bag in black
If you don’t know which one I’m talking about, it’s this one. I kid you not, I showed my husband a picture of this bag on Instagram at least once a week for the past 3 months. He finally got it for my birthday which I’m super thankful for! I want a large bag that could fit my MacBook Pro and iPad Air and I think this bag is just the perfect size. I am a sucker for large bag. The bigger, the better!
05. bath & body works black raspberry vanilla body mist
I got this back in December and let me tell you I have been using it ever since. I suck at explaining fragrance but it smells so good! One thing that I do notice is it’s not as long lasting as the mists from Victoria’s Secret but what do you expect from fragrance mist, eh?
I started the month of March thinking that it would suck but who would’ve thought towards the end it became a very good month for me. Until we meet again in my next post — whenever that may be.
