things to be happy for this week
my new office space
I talked about rearranging my office space quite a lot in previous posts and I’m excited that it’s finally done! I spend a lot of time in my office after putting my son to bed (I recently established a 9 pm bedtime routine with him and it’s been amazing!) Having a few hours of me-time every night after he’s gone to bed has been improving my mental health for the better and I use that time wisely by being in my office and doing what I love to do: blogging, catching up on dramas, and writing in my planner.
Styled Stock Society one month membership
Signing up to heaps of email subscriptions has finally borne fruit! Styled Stock Society in conjunction with Bluchic is giving away a one-month free trial of stock photos membership. I, of course, signed up for it and oh my gosh, I have almost 5,000 images at my perusal for the blog. I’m going to use them ever so wisely.
Frenché Roast & Kee Nguyen coffee
I stopped drinking coffee every day once I found out I’m pregnant again but that does not stop me from enjoying some caffeine once in a while. My latest addiction is salted caramel latte from Frenché Roast. Yummy coffee! I also bought the iced latte which my husband has made a few times. I took a sip of it and it’s delicious too! Apart from that, I love the coffee latte from Kee Nguyen. I’ve seen so many IG stories of my friends getting them so I made my husband got them for me. It’s different from the coffee you get at Starbucks but it’s delicious and cheap! I love it.
Strawberry hard case for Airpods
My sister actually was the one who bought it but she bought a couple and I took the strawberry transparent hard case from her. It’s a simple casing with a strawberry image at the front and back. I thought it’s so cute and matches my aesthetic right now.
Dolce’s satin scrunchies
I’ve been looking for affordable satin scrunchies that are handmade on Shopee which is not an easy task because you have all these cheap suggestions that are not carefully made. But I came across Dolce’s scrunchies and ordered a pack of three. They come wrapped in a box. Super, super pretty and a good unboxing experience.
I got vaccinated!
Received my Pfizer shot last Tuesday and I couldn’t be happier! My husband’s cousin helped me with getting the last minute appointment because honestly if I were to wait to be given date by the system, I would have given birth already because it’s THAT inefficient. The whole process took around 30 minutes including the 15 minute wait time after getting the vaccine. My second dose is in 3 weeks and I’m super excited to be fully vaccinated! I feel so much safer now.
