Birth control pills: after two months

Fun fact: I have never used any form of birth control before (I mean, I had two kids in two years of marriage it’s pretty obvious LOL) so during my one month postpartum appointment, my doctor suggested a few methods of birth control that is suitable for me. I didn’t want anything invasive so I opted for oral pills. Since I’m breastfeeding, a pill called Cerazette should suit me.

So basically Cerazette is a one hormone pill that comes in a box of 28 pills. I didn’t wait for my period to come I just happened to buy it on a Monday and I started that night. My experience have been wonderful. I do not feel like I’m taking hormone pills. I do not have sudden appetite and so far I do not gain any weight unexpectedly. My skin is fine, I do not have breakouts or anything, but I’m not sure about not having mood swings, though, because feeling tired and lethargic from taking care of my kids contribute to that. All in all, I will keep continuing with this pill. Besides, it’s not that expensive at around RM32 per 28 days.

As usual: I am not a doctor, please consult your doctor before taking any medicines. This is just my experience.
